    Default Spys & Traitors

    ive been thinking that with clans and raid and every thing
    wouldnt we have to worry about spys and traitors
    any one think that going to be a big deal?

    Nah they will probably set it up like WoW. You cant have 2 chars on different sides on same server so you cant cheat.

    Im pretty sure that I saw that officially some where that you can only pick one side per server, but dont remember where or if it is for sure official.

    It's possible that people could be using another account to spy(it's kind of stupid to pay for 2 accounts at the same time), or hack into the clan's forums. Or it's even more possible someone could bribe a member of the clan, since people from all races would be coming and going in the safe cities. With my clan, only my most trusted generals and high ranking officers will know what's happening. The only stuff one of my average clan member will know is what stuff we announce publicly.

    I think if we have good leaders on Huxely we will get pre-war conference, where clan members will be invitied to the Clan House and a plan of how the war will run.

    However in a huxley article it was stated that if clans win a battle or an area the get resources and money for that area. It would be interesting for clans to get together and work on destroying the sapiens. Maybe 2 clans work together on a battlefield to fight 2 other clans on the opposite faction.

    Will PvP be like free or will you have to experience a loading time to get to that battlefield?

    There are no loading times. Instead of walking through a portal and ending up in a battlefield you take a APC or train and there is no load time so you can see and talk to all your buddys on the train who are going to your battlefield.

    So if your not in the Battlefield could enemies ambush your train?

    My previous expereiences with 1 empire per server was PlanetSide; SOE's MMOFPS. It eventually dissolved though and all three empires (New Conglomerate, Terran Republic, and Vanu Sovereingty) could be used on the same server.However, to prevent spies, they added a twelve hour timer to prevent empire hopping.Actually; I'm still playing P-side though. To bad it's a dead game. =(

    Well seeing as they added a system where if you create a new char it will show his other chars on his friends list underlined just so you know that he is playing another char to prevent spying. I would know first hand.

    yeah...unless there is some way to pay someone on the other side...but if you accept such a thing you should feel bad for betraying your nation.

    Spying on the other faction is just intel, what would be the point of storming a major city if you don't know where to go, where your choke points are going to be, every back road and side passage. you want to know everything about the terrain before you try and take something on. If there were satellite imagry about areas you've not yet explored it would make sense, but i doubt the game will be that realistic, so we've all got to resort to something. Or they could go the PS way and have every building structure be the same, which would be a downer

    id say yea there will be spying. but just 2 find weak spots on the other faction or something.
