    besides if you run out of ammo what choice do you have.
    its called running the frak away while their still at a distance and getting mroe ammo. I assume this game will have some sort of portable supply station? and unless your entire squad/company is dead, then you simply disengauge and get mor ammo. you dont charge or sneak in to try and knife them like an idiot. I am guessing cloak wears away or turns off completely whenever you stab/shoot so once you kill hmm... maybe ONE person, your gonna get riddled. phantoms are for sniping and intelligence: NOT for making last stands by sneaking up and trying to knife someone like a jackass. Leave the midrange-closerange combat to the avengers and Enforcers. Phantoms should run if a situation gets so bad that they run out of ammo AND are one of a handful of survivors left after the enemy mauled your army. Live to fight another day, and hopefully there is some sort of portable supply item around you can find... I imagine it would actually be easier to get kills if you ran away, and then took shots at them solo, cause they wouldn't know where you are, and it would cost them time, ammo and people to finally find out where you are and kill you.

    The point is: USE YOUR DAMN GUN. Unless your unfortunate for someone to be literally TOE to TOE with you you should not use your knife, and if what I read about the other classes is true, your *Censored Word**Censored Word**Censored Word**Censored Word*ed anyways.

    the man has a vaild point. Phantoms like my self are not ment to go all rambo and try to bag and tag others with a damn combat knife....that gets you killed. But what you can do is lay a trap down real quick where you are and if anyone manages to tail you as you flee like a mad man...they go "tick tick BOOM!"

    That interview says that there won't be any knives, but there will be 9 different melee weapons.

    Besides the fact that every class will be able to use every weapon if they really want to. I'm wondering what melee weapon phantom's would use (which would fit the basic class). I do agree that if you're a sniper and you run out of ammo, you should probably just go get more. But in the situation where maybe a guy is running right at you, and you hit him once in the chest but he doesn't go down, then you miss your second shot and he's right up in your face and you don't have time to reload and possibly miss your shot again, you can pull out some kind of melee weapon in an attempt to finish him off. Even if you have a pistol or something, maybe you unload your entire pistol clip but the guy still doesn't go down. I'm sure there's some time when a melee weapon could be useful, even if it's just for fun.

    Btw, that interview also says there will be mines so that should be fun. Maybe there will be some sneaky phantoms who like laying mines behind enemies lines. hey...i can rhyme! it must be that time, to hit the chime, I found a dime! Hopefully people who step on a mine, won't whine.

    Yeah I enjoy the idea of being able to get weapons that you want with all classes cause you want to be able to balance your own class out. At least thats how i see things..

    you know, I was thinking the same question.. I was thinking about using a smg with a phantom, run around them and stuff.
