What do you guys think about Quake Wars?

It's going to be in direct competition with Huxley.

i dont know i've never realy like the quake games. but is the quake wars game going 2 be an mmofps or just an fps.

I'm thinking about playing Quake Wars and Huxley, because Quake Wars is alot farther in development and I think it will be out sooner.

Quake wars is going to be an awesome game, unfortunately, QW is not an MMOFPS. Its just an FPS shooter. While Huxley is an MMO, I dont think we will be seeing the game untl mid 07. E3 press was dismal, and since we havent heard anything new or havent seen anything new from Webzen its safe to say a 06 release is lone gone. If you want a game that will keep you entertained until Huxley is release I would definitely pick up QW once its released.

Yeah, I agree. I wasn't sure if it was a MMO until I checked just a bit ago.

But even though it is not a FPS, because of its similarities to Huxley, I think it will be a factor.

Its an online game, like BF2. But its not an MMO.

Quake Wars is going to be released this fall... While it well be alot like Huxley and well be a MMOFPS.... it well have very little RPG elements in the game and be more of a shooter then Huxley... I think it could be compare more to Planetside .... but I think it well land some where between planetside and Huxley... but from what I saw at E3 the game looks great and definitly well be one to check out..

Its weird... it kinda is a MMO and isn't... it has a community side to it but not really MMO... but it also supports large scale battles like Planetside... its unique and ID didn't really show to much at E3... It well be an interesting one ... Typical John Carmak tho the whole going place with game no one well...

Which do you think will be better? I think Quake Wars. Mostly because its actually "different" compared to the Battlefield Series.
