What are the requirements and will you need to have Windows Vista in order to play
Lets get a topic going about the system requirements, So what do you think?
What are the requirements and will you need to have Windows Vista in order to play
you wont need vista and requiremts havnt been announced yet.
Id say youd probably want the following to get you by fairly ok.
3.0ghz cpu
256mb gpu
1gb ram
I would say you would need at least maybe a high end 7 series if not an 8 series nvidia or well I am not too Familair with ATI so whatever is equivelent to that. as for processor I am thinking that the high end fx or core 2 duo's or the new quadro could handle it fine w/o being 3.0 ghz. But I really have no idea :P 256 mb is too broad I have a video card 7300gs that gets 512mb of mem but doesn't push much out. I would say at least 2 gigs would be good!
BUt I don't know what do you other guys think?
I personally would love to see a 2gb gpu but the highest I have seen is 1Gb. I feel that most 7 or 8 series Nvidia or 1800 or higher series ATI should handle the game without difficulties. I feel that they would be strangling themselves if they did not configure the game to be able to run on high end AGP cards as well. System memory will prolly need to be at least 1Gb along with a min P4 3Gb cpu or equivalent.
Be yourself and nobody else. Be honest with the world and it will be good to you. If it isn't good to you then shoot it where it hurts.,

One thing you will very probably need is a new motherboard. No matter the CPU and graphics card you pick up if you're mainboard can't handle the BUS load those high end pieces of hardware won't help you with you hit your bottleneck. So check your bus, if you've got an older motherboard and otherwise new hardware, snag a new motherboard. I imagine this game is all going to be about transfer rates.
If you can't describe what you are doing as a process, you don't know what you're doing.

Most people are moving from 1Gb to 2Gb of system memory this year and the rest is probably going to do that in 2007. By most people I'm of course talking about the gamers.
So Terin's guess is quite good, except for the lack of 1Gb system mem.![]()
Well that Suck i just upgrade and now i'll have to upgrade again if i want to play this.
