There is a new style of PvP for LOTRO. It is consentual and out of the box of most games. It is called Monster Play. This is where you get to take over a monster of Middle Earth in an instanced scenario and battle other players. (MVP)

There is no free for all servers.
There are no free for all zones.
The only form of PvP is the Monster Play.

It is different, and impossible to judge until you try it out. Im sure there will be substantial more information on this in the future.
