Yeah, full customization would be cool, but clan tags are way more likely.

I have doubts though just cause, from what I know Korean gaming companies don't get too into customization. It may be wrong, but I have to say it. All asian people look alike

hey Athest what part of pittsburgh u from?, also thats a sterotype :P any way i dont think like black at night for camo will really do that much in this game, sure in a BF 2 styled game it would be awsome but in UT2k4 style game it really wouldn't make a huge difference.

That's pretty uncalled for. Even if they did all look the same, I'm sure that wouldn't reflect how they made their games.

Hehe yea I know, was just kidding, but you know u got a laugh or two from it Silenoz666, its just a joke, I don't mean to offend anyone by it. Just kind of a coincidence I find that the sterotype relates to something i've heard before. Feel free to call me a pasty ghost cracker.

I would prefer it to be without spraypaint logos, I've never liked it in games such as Counter-Strike, and I've always removed the possibility to see other players spraylogos from my config. I don't mind being able to customize other things though.

For the same reason I don't like grafitti all over my town. At one point, when it get's too much then it looses it's charm and just turns ugly. Don't get me wrong here. I can really appreciate the real artists behind beautiful grafittipaintings, but just seeing random tags everywhere basicly sucks.

But then again, if I'm able to turn it off in my config then I'll be okey with it.

Personally I think that tossing out sprays would be a mistake in Huxley. It opens up a can of worms in moderation duties to monitor and keep sprays appropriate. It also detracts from the actual gameplay, a very nice looking environment like the unreal 3 engine filled with hundreds of crappy pictures pasted everywhere that were created in ms paint. That is just plain rediculous. Creating your own decals would be interesting and doable in this day and age, but I still do not think it is necessary. Try out Planetside if you wish to see how little the decals for your outfit are actually noticable.

good point there felix, and yeah i agree on that!

and as murvel state, then maybe when u see it the first couple of times, then its like: "wow sweet stuff" ... but when u have seen the samr thing 100 times, then its just a ugly tag on the ground or where ever it would be...

Ok what if spray tags can only be used by people in guilds. This way before a guild is created a system of checks an balances is made to make sure nothing wrong is going on. Like a waiver with a file attachment for your picture and it it seen quickly by an admin or something with authority. Maybe to make it easier it can be guild only and no person checking. Just wait till someone reports it.

Making people join up with guilds just to gain access to gameplay elements is not a good idea. Doing this builds guilds where there is no actual loyalty or any want to actually keep the guild together beyond greed. A game where a player never is required to join a larger group would be very nice for attracting large amounts of casual gamers and thus boost the entire game.

Indeed, in the end, we'll get a bunch of huge guilds with absolutely no organization at all accepting any player. People will only join to get the benefits. It's basically going to be the same as everyone being clanless.

As far as spray paint goes, I'm all against it. I remember in CS seeing people actually spray painting 2D models representation.

Although, I'm pretty sure you'll see a lot of nice custimization. If you look at the E3 Huxley demonstration from nvidia, you'll notice there are tags on both harms of one the characters they're zooming on. Hopefully, you'll get to choose whatever tags you want on your character, etc...

There might just be a set amount of tags to pick from. Because once a person makes their own tag, then other people will have to download it to see it. Unless it's something like Counter-Strike and people only see it when you want them too. (aka: The spray paint.)
