What Is LOTRO

So I got the chance to stress test Lord Of The Rings Online and to begin with it was really messed up, after waiting for a couple of days for them to get it working I finaly log in and when I start playing I find it is nothing more than an RPG without the MMO part.

I only played for about 30 minutes but I was seriously disappointed, it run very well and the graphics were not bad but it just felt like a single player game so now I am confused and hoping there is someone who could explain more about this because I now do not understand what kind of game this really is.

It's a lot like WoW. It's pretty much true to the basic MMORPG format....I'm not sure why it would be too confusing.

It's true that at lower levels you can go solo, but once higher (like most MMOs), you pretty much need a party.

I think the problem is you only played it for 30 minutes, most RPGs of any kind take longer than that to get an accurate view on.
