APB not releasing in Australia?

Hey guys,

Well, the subject speaks for itself, I learned on our version of Kotaku that APB will not be released in Australia; what's the deal? If this is true, then you have disappointed a number of our gamers because of "High latency". Then make some servers close by, it doesn't have to be inside our country as I do realise that the cost for running a server would be very expensive compared to the US and EU.

There are other countries around us that you could host some servers and even reach out to other countries to play, such as Signapore or wherever. I am looking forward to this game; and even though I'll still buy it from D2D, there are others that won't.

I'll probably be flamed for posting this >_<, but this is very frustrating as it isn't the only game that we can't enjoy like you guys can (Global Agenda is an example).

Which brings me to another question, I'm fairly confident that my internet connection coupled with your so-called "High speed servers" should bring a ping around 150ms right? That should be playable for an MMO, will you guys still be accepting subscriptions from us anyway?
