Planetsides level progression is spot on IMO, i hope Huxley is going along similar lines.
Higher level in a shooter wont =god mode but it will give you a much betyter selection of tools to use, its still up to you to pick the right one and be able to aim it at all.
Maybe not very UT-ish, but i hope they restrict the number of weapons you can carry, this would fit in with a PS style levelling nicely. That then leads to playere knowledge in his weaponloadout, bring a sniper rifle to a CQB and you'll regret it etc. Not saying just one weapon btw, just not being able to carry every gun in the game.
