Can Factions Play Together
hey everyone this is my first post and i got a question. Can diffrent factions play togeather or are they set as enimies? As in can a Syn play with Alternatives? There probably isnt any official info but what would you assume? Also if they can't play togeather shouldnt the clans that are starting now specify which faction they intend to join? Perhaps they think its to early but i dont want to join a clan and then find out they arnt going to be on the side i want to be on.

They are set as enemies, they'll always be enemies. What you're able to do however is make an unofficial cease fire with an enemy squad you come across if you're being overrun by zerglings. I doubt there'll be a built in function, it will most likely be an on your honor thing, soon as you can take on the little beasties with only your squad, shoot the enemy in the back.
There's nothing saying you have to shoot them, just the fact that it's fun and they'll probably be doing it to you.

well then shouldnt clans specify which faction they plan on being? Personaly based on looks alone i want to play a Syn and im interested in the evolution gaming clan.
I'm sure that most have. Several are probably playing both (like my clan is, we have a sapien divison and an alt division).
i think it is gona be different from place to place maybe in 1 city you are not allowed to shoot each other and both races are there. and then each race have it's own city where they can fuck each other up as much as they want.

Screenshots to show off how pretty a game is before a beta is even out hold less weight imo than articles from the developers saying "There are big two cities"
The storyline and other information already given state that the normal humans are getting xenophobic/racist about the alternatives and want to wipe them out, thus the war, the conflict and the whole basis for this game.
At the forefront are both races' home cities: Nostalonia for the Sapiens, and ESKA for the Alternatives. "At the forefront" it doesn't say anything about there being only two cities it says there is Two captial cities, one for sapiens and one for alternatives. Outpost cities close to battle zones might be used as quick respawn points or housing for ppl who hate neighborsme personaly im a pker I shoot anything that moves that doesnt have a friendly tag. so i want to shoot any turd muncher who steps on my stoop to get a .45 in b/w the eyes. Fighting shouldnt be specified to just battle zones just major trade spots and shtuff
Wasn't there menthioned of a third faction. Some kinda of federation involving the two factions working together against thier more predujuce segerated brothern?
Yes, the third faction is an npc faction called the Hybrids. The things that look like zerglings. There is also an organisation that makes use of the hypbrids and is on their side, they've been lumped in with the hybrids and you can see examples of them in the videos, usually their eyes glow red right before they fuck over the others in the vid.
