Most likely alternatives. They seem to have more versatility. Besides, their armor is much nicer looking.

Sapiens most likely the One. The fact of being able to max out certain things is kick ass. They are the most versatile instead of concentrating on 1 thing. Like for instance the Alteravers or whatever are heavy support units nothing more. You cant have them snipe cuase its just not what they were intended for. (yes you can snipe with them but they arent as affective) The alteravix and the Syn are your fast scouts assassins etc. This means they can only use light weapons and so on and do light quick things. While as the one can be whatever you decide youw ant to be. Thats why I am goin 1.

There must be some kind of limitation on the specialisations availiable to ONE though...if they are so versatile, yes they can do everything well but they surely won't be able to be as good or be as effective as a SYN or Alternix asassain or an Alteraver gunner

i want to be the ALTERNIX cuz i think they look cooler than the rest and the fact that there sneaky so there probly be good at snipeing.

correct me if im wrong but, I cant help the feeling that the poor Gamers (and i mean as in the normal type) who wish to take the role of a SYN or an ALTERNIX might just end up with a hell of a lot of nubcakes in their race,

Er something like that...I mean amen and good luck to the guys who can pull off an assasination or who can turn the tide of a battle properly with a SYN or an Alternix character, just im guessing your gonna get tons of 10 year olds charging through the centre of the fray with light armour and a sniper rifle!

Actually I highly doubt that. The most popular character to be in my MMOs is always the big tough warrior class or whatever. All noobs can play it, since you dont die easily and you get to wield big things like swords hammers etc. I bet you ll find all the noobs playing as the One or the Alteravers.

Very possible, however I would put my money on ONE ending up the most populated Race and not by noobs either, by y'know the real breed gamers :P

Alteravers are a frickin awesome idea in my opinion, to an MMO player theyre your Orcs and to your FPS player, theyre your Juggernaughts. The expected outcome from a firefight with an Alteraver is "KABOOM" though it would be really interesting to see some Alteraver Medium armour/weps players, could be good as a General or Commander class

Hey, I've got no problem with cannon fodder running around getting shot up. While people gleefully chew up the teammates, the squads I roll with will be having fun ripping up the farmers.

Alternative, i think of them as the Stealthy kewl looking class, isent it rumered that they can go invisible too =0, or was that another class idk =p

I read in a PC gamer that I think but, you can be anything you want sorta like PS but, depending on your proffession it could cost more. For example: Lets say im the heavy unit (forgot the name) and I want to buy a shotgun cert it costs 1point if im the heavy unit but if im the lightest unit it will cost 3 points get my drift? So alternitaves I believe can be anything just as Sapiens can

Barley worse. Its like a druid in WoW.
Its true that it will be worse, but you can go sniping and then whip out a machine gun, and go back to sniping, maybe some rifleing also.

I love WoW Druids...or for that matter any class in any game who are able to take on any role, even if they arn't specialists...

I'm still torn between ONE and Alternix though

On the subject of races as according to jobs and classes...I read the same article as CTU and it seems as if anybody can do anything, An Alteraver will have to work a hell of a lot harder in order to get a Sniper rifle and a SYN character would have to be damn classy in order to be a big ass blaster

I want to be a sapien becuase they act as the more bandit race like on the video when that altenat guy is talking to the chinaman and the sapiens are all hide on the top floor.

I think that 50 % of alt. players will be some kids,and half of 'em will be noobs.
My choise is "One".I think that bouth factions are balanced,and some 5 lvl One gunner can take some 5 lvl alt. gunner.Alt.'s look, means nothing to me.
I hope more "One" fans will agree with me.(No ofence please ,i dont hate Alt.'s)

True.. Seems most people like the Alt's becuase of there armour and vechiles ect..

will be forced to try both or have facts about them.. non spec facts.
hopefully some of us will be lucky enough to get a beta spot and try them out and help form/test the best game i could dream of. :P
